‘A Moment In Time’ Movie Showcases Coco Martin and Julia Montes’ Tandem On Big Screen

While Coco Martin is currently paired with Erich Gonzales in an upcoming Television series, “Juan Dela Cruz,” his partnership with former teleserye leading lady, Julia Montes is still intact — and is soon to be showcased in a film.

Martin and Montes star in the upcoming movie, “A Moment In Time” to be released by Star Cinema. It is the film outfit’s Valentine’s offering that will hit Philippine theaters on February 13.

Focused on the romance of Julian (Montes) and Patrick (Martin), ‘A Moment In Time,‘ based on its trailer, seems to showcase a more mature acting from Montes who can be seen as a lady ready to fall in love.

Directed by Emmanuel Palo with shots from Amsterdam, Netherlands, the film’s cinematography could be likened to Piolo Pascual and Claudine Baretto‘s ‘Milan‘ (Italy) and the still ongoing Abs-cbn TV series, ‘A Beautiful Affair‘ (Austria) starring John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo. The comparison however is huge since those were two wonderfully-produced film and TV series, respectively.

In terms of acting, Montes seems to be coping with Martin in this one. But everything we are yet to see come February. If supplied by a great story, this could be the start of Martin and Montes’ tandem on the way to superstardom.

Don’t mistaken the film to the Hollywood’s 2001 film, “Moment In Time” for their plots are entirely different and the 2001 film is a critically-acclaimed thriller-romance film. United Kingdom has ‘A Moment In Time‘ as well but that one is a TV series.

Star Cinema’s ‘A Moment In Time’ is a romantic-comedy love story that’s poise to make Filipinos fall in love this February. Will it be successful?

The film also stars Gabby Concepcion, Cherie Gil and Ella Cruz.
