EIGHTEEN-YEAR OLD hunk from Sta. Rosa, Laguna, Jamiel Ventosa won the Manhunt International Philippines 2013 title at Friday night’s pageant held at the Palacio de Maynila in Malate, October 4.
Ventosa succeeded the reigning reigning Manhunt International 2013 June Macasaet and got the ticket to represent the country in the upcoming Manhunt International 2014 pageant in Beijing, China in May 2014.
The six-feet-two-inches-tall Ventosa bested 19 other candidates including top contenders Justine Hizon of Pampanga and Renz Maun of San Jose City who placed first and second runners-up, respectively.
Ventosa also won two special awards, Mongolia’s Choice and Best in Runway.
Hizon also won two other awards, the Unleash Flawless Award and Mister Sony while Maun added three other more for the night, which include Sash Factor Award, Mister Physique, and Best in Swimwear, tied with another favorite, Rommel Torres of Cabanatuan City. Torres went on to winning five other special awards: Best in Formal Wear, Best in Fantasy Wear, Mister Photogenic, Mister Friendship and Indonesia’s Choice. Torres went as far as among the Top 6 finalists.
Completing the Top 6 circle are Allen Manucot of Aliaga and Phrabat Ranjan of Laguna.
One of the most important part of every men pageant is the formal wear competition. Below are the photos of the Top 6 in their formal attire, and luckily, not only one but three of them was adjudged Best in Formal Wear. Aside from Ventosa and Torres as mentioned above, the handsome Allen Manucot won the award as well.
While spectators love to see our men dressed up, there’s no way ladies and the ladies-at-heart want to see them with only the private parts covered — and we are talking about the sexy swimwear competition. While we wanted to offer them all in this post, only a few deserve the spot. And that goes to First Runner-Up Justine Hizon and the two Best in Swimwear winners, Renz Maun and Rommel Torres.
For this writer, Maun got the body to die for but Torres’ handsome face and sexiness while in his undies cannot be easily ignored. And yes, Hizon who is maybe lacking the abs and all, is just as sexy as his first name.
